Hi, guys.
I'm been gone quite a while. I had a hard summer that kept me very busy, but it's better now. I had almost 4,000 devs in my dev watch when I returned. I've worked it down some in the last few days, but it's going to take me a while, especially since you all work so fast! :aww:
I'll just keep pecking away at it until I've got it. I'm looking forward to seeing everything (and everyone) I've missed.

Every semester, I have my students read "Sweat" by Zora Neale Hurston because it's a great story of fortitude and seeing justice served at last. So when I found Their Eyes Were Watching God by the same author hidden in a bookshelf in my room, I read that, too, and it immediately became one of my favorite books of all time. The dialect can take a bit of getting used to, but it's worth the effort. What so amazes me about this book is how perfectly she captures the female psyche.
