It doesn’t take much
to make people feel welcome.

Put out a few flowers,
hang the hummingbird feeders,
sweep the porch.

Then when someone knocks,
open the door, smile,
and say hello.
For my good friend Edie because this one reminds me of her...

Yep, we've got them both. When there are still so many flowers around, they don't come to the feeders that often yet, but when it starts to get so dry in July, they'll be hanging around all day everyday. They're lovely to watch.

The magnollia's not blooming yet, but I'm watching! :)
